This total kitchen transformation is one for the books! We began by taking a 1970s kitchen with an 8' ceiling and vaulting the ceiling with 9' walls and 12' center within the existing roofline. Much of the wiring to the house ran through this ceiling so rerouting was in order. All the rafters were reinforced as we removed the trusses, and new exposed rafter ties installed. The kitchen was rewired to include ceiling, pendant, under counter, over counter and in cabinet lighting. Additional GFCI circuits brought in to code. The entire area was insulated, drywalled, primed and painted. HVAC was rerouted. The flooring was installed by Brown Oaks Flooring out of Nashville. Cabinets were installed by Cookeville Kitchen Sales. Countertops came from Anatolia Granite, Baxter. Doors and windows from Watson Windows of Sparta and HVAC by Mark's Heating and Air, Sparta, TN.
