They all lay, and they’re super chill, but for some reason, I guess when they were figuring out the pecking order, they pulled each other’s butt feathers out, and those butt feathers never grew back. No other issue, though, and they made it through last winter just fine. Apart from the case of the missing butt fluff, they are totally healthy and great producers. I think one or two of them might be a little broody but only vocal, not aggressively broody or anything.

I got a few pics of the bald bubble butts while sitting with them tonight, and added them to this post.
