The full bath remodel had an old sunken whirlpool tub which had to be removed. All new PEX plumbing was installed from the crawlspace to the faucets. The old PVC drains were not properly sloped, so the owner had to plunge the commode after every use. New, properly sloped 3" lines were installed along with new 2" p-traps and drain lines for the tub and shower. The bathroom had to be re-wired to code with separate circuits for the GFCI and Heater/Vent/ light fan. New lighting was installed. The shower was extended and window to the tub area added. All Schluter products were used; shower pan, drain, Kerdi board walls, Kerdi Band, Kerdi Niche and Schluter profile edging. Dreamline shower door installed. Schluter Ditra substrate was used under the new floor tile. The bathroom was painted and new cabinets installed by the cabinet maker. New whirlpool tub and faucet installed and tiled around. Here's a spectacular master bath, which couldn't have been completed by one of the "one day" companies.
