This is a Yamaha digital 16 track audio workstation.. Its capabilities are truthfully beyond me but it can make digital recordings laying tracks over tracks. it has XLR inputs so you can sing over tracks and a midi input/output so you can interpose effects over tracks as well. It basically is a recording studio. There are training videos available online for free. it has a twenty gig drive for recording and many other ins and outs. Slick, logical operation. Fast USB transfer.
