12 hens for sale. 12 weeks old. $20 a piece. First eggs expected around week 17-18. These will be great layers as their mothers are Red and Black Star hens, the rooster (dad) was Barred Rock. An assortment of colors in them based on the gene pool that makes the Red and Black star chickens. Currently my (10) laying hens produce 8-10 eggs a day, so I expect the same out of these ladies. They have been on Edwards Feed starter and getting lots of grass and clover. I also have a couple roosters left for $8 a piece.
