We found this dog on the side of the road in 93 ° weather last year and when we stopped to give him water he jumped into our car.His feet looked blistered from the hot road so we took him to the vet and doctored him until they healed. It was in April of last year when we found him and we did later go back and look for his owner around the area he was roaming.I also later contacted a rescue to try to help find him a good home...things pertaining to my husband's health have kept us from looking diligently after the first few weeks last year so I am just trying- again - to find his owners? He is an extremely smart dog.He has not been neutered, weighs about 45 lbs...when we took him to the vet we noticed He rides well in a car and he also loves kids and loves our other dog.The vet said he was about a year old last year , so he must be coming up on around two years sometime this summer. I Am going to post a few pictures of him to see if anyone recognizes him... He was on the highway in Jackson county heading toward Smith county.I would say maybe a mile or so away from county line.Anyway my husband is having alot of health problems and we really need to find him ^his owner^ or a good ^new owner.^ Please call if you are interested in him or he is yours.WE DONT WANT TO TAKE HIM TO A SHELTER.This dog is intelligent and seemed to be very socialized before we found him and I think the owners must have really spent time teaching him.Thanks for looking and or for any help you can be to our situation.
