SOLD MUST TOW, 98 Z3 2.8l roadster, trans and engine are fine, but No crank No start issue due to immobilzer/anti theft/ews2. Ran and drove great till ignition switch broke, can show all dash needles sweep, but won't crank. Bought new convertible so I'm over it. 350 firm! clean title. Don't ask 100 question, going to junk yard by Friday. Will take offers, front tires only hold air for a day. Rims are not bent, top goes up and down manually. Been rained in. Just over this project. Straight six cylinder. Immobilizer shuts off fuel pump, spark and starter motor. May just need a starter, but BMW puts starter under the intake manifold. Beyond my basic mechanical abilities. Sent ecu off to delete ews (129 bucks) but they told me that only makes computer side happy so if the transponder in key desynced from Vin it would cause a no start. Ready to throw rocks at it. Windows work. Text first please. Does not run or start. Motor and transmission fine, never over heated, shifted smooth as silk. Been trying to figure it out for the last year, so it's been sitting. Has leafs in it, ignition is cut. Clean TN title in my name, just got from Cumberland county when I registered new car. Gas in tank is 100 percent probably bad. The engine alone goes for over a grand on ebay. Frames straight.
