Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our team on 1st shift.



This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility using both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
Transport raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the facility.
Load and unload trucks as needed.
Supply production lines with necessary materials to support operations.
Move, stack, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate material records.
Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts required.
Prior material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods.
Schedule & Compensation
1st Shift
Monday – Thursday, OT on Friday as needed
Overtime may be required based on production demands
Starting Pay: $16.38 per hour
