Job Description: Express Employment in Sparta is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Cutter position at an apparel manufacturing company. As a Cutter, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by cutting fabric patterns using an electric knife. This is a 1st shift position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Use an electric knife to cut fabric patterns with precision and accuracy.
Exhibit good hand-eye coordination to ensure clean and precise cuts.
Maintain attention to detail while working at a fast pace.
Stand for extended periods of time while performing cutting tasks.
Adhere to guidelines for cutting along designated lines.
Cross-training may be required for inspection tasks.

Skills Required:

Strong attention to detail is essential for accurate fabric cutting.
Ability to work efficiently and maintain a fast pace.
Good hand-eye coordination for precise cutting.
Previous experience in cutting fabric is preferred.
Tagging product and packing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
Clear vision is necessary to accurately cut and inspect items.

Equipment Used:
