If you're a Harley Davidson fan and are looking for that something special that is missing from your collection of Harley collectables that you won't find anywhere else, you should take a look at this flag. We start out with a clear pine board that's been cut to size and then carve out the union, the stripes and the inset on the lower right hand corner on our CNC router. We paint the outer edges and the dividers between the stripes with a gloss black and spray two coats of clear gloss over the entire flag. We then pour a brilliant blue epoxy resin into union and brilliant red and white epoxy resin into the stripes. We cut the white stars out of acrylic on one of our CNC lasers and add them to the union. We then apply the "chain circle" Harley emblem in the flag's inset. A crystal clear epoxy resin is then poured over the unions and emblem. The flag is then installed into one of our custom made frames that is made from clear pine, then stained a dark walnut stain. Multiple coats of clear gloss Krylon were sprayed on the frame with sanding done between each coat. This gives the frame a very smooth and glossy finish. Two sawtooth hangers are attached to the back of the flag and we also supply two plastic anchors and screws that will allow you to hang the flag on any of your homes walls. This flag can also be displayed on any level surface in your home. If you are looking for that special hard to find item to compliment your decor, this ought to fill the bill. As with anything made with resin, sometimes "bubbles" are unavoidable but we take many precautions so that bubbles are extremely minimal if any.
