Selling them as a family unit puts lets pressure on the goats during the transition to a new farm. We milked mom for years, but let her just raise babies the last 2 seasons. You would have to retrain her some if you wanted to milk her again. Babies won't run away without mom, and mom wont run away without babies. That will help as they transition to their new home. I can separate them for more money per goat if I don't sell them as a family ($200 each.) But I'm going to try selling as a family unit first. Girls are beautiful black does, born in at the end of January (about 4 months old.) They could make great dairy goats.
