The wood used was harvested from fallen branches. //Oak, Maple, Poplar, Sassafras, Chestnut, Hickory, Chinkapin, others// Foodgrade flaxseed oil used to seal wood. No chemical finishing preservative or stains have been applied. (The wood will create a natural coloring from its own oils and with use.)
***Sample***One Sassafras hiking stick is slimmer with a decorative handle, with a band of two-tone, inner bark remaining. The other Sassafras are thicker proportions, one debarked, the other two-tone inner bark. The Hickory is very stout, completely debarked, with slight grain. The Poplar is smooth white with an extended handle and carved detail. Oak with carved detail and natural wood pattern.
