Acorn Finished Mangalitsa Pork.
We will have several of our mangalitsa bars ready for butcher Nov-Dec. They are free range suplemented with grain and minerals. We do not use antibiotics. They are fed diotamacious earth and forage acorns to control parasites. On farm pickup is 500.00. They will be around 300 lbs. This is the type of pork for steaks and barbeque. Turning it into sausage would almost be a travesty.
We have gotten around 100lbs of meat from our 300 lb bars in the past, plus lard. Great for making Lard also. The Coppa steaks and something to write home about (google it). Drop off at custom proccesor within reasonable distance is an option. Halfs & Quarters available by request when we get enough people signed up so that we don't half a homeless half or quarter pig hanging at the proccessor.
