1978 Gibson RD Artist electric bass, black. Original Gibson case in excellent condition. I am the original owner and the bass is a "player."
Not abused, but shows plenty of typical body wear to the finish.
No dings to the head stock or back of the neck. No gouges. Ebony fingerboard in excellent condition. Frets in very good condition.

I still have the stock Tune-o-matic bridge (excellent condition), but this was professionally replaced with a Schaller around 1980.
The work was done by Larry Brooks (Fender Custom Shop) and it allows for stringing extra long scale (thru the body) or regular long scale, just like the stock Gibson.
All MOOG electronics original and in good working condition. All pots, switches, knobs and switch caps original and in excellent condition.

Really hard for me to part ways with this old friend, but someone who plays or performs often deserves the pleasure.
This bass records like you can't believe. Tough to beat that massive slab of maple topped with ebony fingerboard... HUGE.
