Bought for our granddaughter's room but we're doing an addition with a custom workspace so we don't need the desk. It's wicked heavy! Has frosted glass doors at the top. Hutch does come off for moving. The spot you can't see because the chair is in the way is just an open space for a monitor. Nothing wrong with the desk, just don't have a place for it. Bring a truck or trailer and at least two strong guys!
