I am raising funds to help my very best friend Kristin Robinson and her family during this time. Kristin has just gotten home from Vanderbilt and will be out of work at CRMC where she works as a nurse for some time. She has underwent a complex operation at this time and trying to heal. Her surgeon thinks that the tumor removed was concerning for uterine leiomyosarcoma and was not able to retrieve all of it during the surgery. We are waiting on pathology reports to confirm this diagnosis at this time but this still means that Kristin will have to start chemo in a couple weeks regardless of the type of cancer she may have. She has 3 children one being very small and a husband Casey (who has received a kidney transplant not even to long ago) at home as well going through this with her. Any donations would be greatly appreciated at this time, as we are uncertain of what the future holds right now but do know that we are in the ride for some type of journey.
